Nick laid rigid insulation first. Next came the plywood.

Note, you'll have to cut around the wheel wells in the back. We left one sheet of plywood unscrewed so we could cut a channel into the insulation for laying the wiring.

Sunday finds me sweeping. A clean bus is a happy bus.

Here's the latest plan . . . with the bed by the back door, shower on the left and closet on the right as you face the front of the bus. It's a good idea to have a plan, but it's hard to visualize how things are going to work out until they're built, so be sure to be flexible on your plan. Also note, "Things in your mirror, are larger and closer than they appear."

Nick decided to try plywooding in the walls by turning a 2X4 sideways (left of bed), but stalled because he wasn't quite sure of the electrical, etc. just yet. Instead, he built the bed. The bed platform is made from an old boxspring and new plywood. It's probably a good idea to not attach the bed to the floor so you can move it around and see how it best fits in your space.

This is the beginings of closet framing strategically placed over the wheel arch.

Need more storage? Why not make a flip door in your bed which can act as a lockable tool chest during construction and be used for storage later?

Nick is framing the shower, which is across from the toilet.
