Time to start painting before laying the wood floors.
Painting the beadboard white really finishes the interior nicely.
This is the wood planking that is going in the bus. It's not real
wood, but it's not plastified wood either, really something in between.
It's not too expensive and looks sharp. Creates a homey feel and
finishes off the plywood subfloor.
It's really easy to lay, if I can do it anyone can. Simply use
a hammer and block technique.
Kneepads recommended but not required. Be sure to sponge up the
excess glue, or it will end up drying to a light film.
Sometimes you have to make shimmy-shams to fill in the spaces by
the walls.
This is the final floor. Laying the floor lengthwise in the bus
gives an impression that the bus is longer than it actually is.
